The M-TAC Plate Carrier Cuirass Tiger Elite represents a new evolutionary stage in individual armor protection within the Plate Carrier line. It is compatible with standard ESAPI (USA) Medium armor plates measuring 31.8 x 24.1 cm, featuring chamfered upper corners. A key feature of the M-TAC Plate Carrier Cuirass Tiger Elite is its cummerbund, which consists of two parts. The lower section is equipped with a ballistic package made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (HMPE), meeting STANAG 2920 standards with a V-50 fragmentation resistance index of approximately 614.5 m/s. The upper part of the cummerbund combines Tegris thermoplastic composite and Cordura material. It includes slots that form a MOLLE panel, allowing for the attachment of additional equipment. The cummerbunds are equipped with Duraflex quick-reset fastex buckles from the American company National Molding. These buckles are premium-quality due to their simplified fastening and unfastening system, lightweight design, and high strength, capable of withstanding substantial loads. To fasten the fastex, position the attached part into the fastex slot on the front of the plate carrier and press until a click is heard. To disconnect it, sharply pull it up or down. It’s important to note that the fastex can be fastened and unfastened in the same way, regardless of its position on the right or left side of the cummerbund. The M-TAC Cuirass Tiger Elite Carrier is constructed from high-quality 500D Cordura material, known for its exceptional durability and resistance to abrasion and heavy loads. Inside the plate carrier, there are 3D mesh inserts that provide cushioning and air circulation. The ergonomic shoulder straps are designed for comfort and to follow the natural contours of the body. The front features a slotted Velcro panel that can be used to attach MOLLE-compatible gear and ID tags. At the top of the plate holder, the designers have provided a small compartment with a moisture-proof AquaGuard zipper. This pocket is designed to store small flat items such as IDs, keys, a lighter, etc. At the bottom of the body armor, there is a quick-release module with three secure slots for holding magazines. To prevent accidental detachment from the Velcro base, it is secured to the plate carrier with Woojin carabiners. The upper section of the module has protrusions with perforations (two for each integrated slot) designed to facilitate the adjustment of elastic cord loops for convenient magazine carrying. On the sides of the module, there are elastic bands designed for carrying chemical lights, markers, and other small items. The back of the plate carrier features a classic MOLLE interface and a handle for evacuation, which can be fixed to the rear with Velcro panels when not in use. The M-TAC Plate Carrier Cuirass Tiger Elite can be used in its standard form or equipped with additional modules to enhance anti-fragment protection. When combined with other equipment, this plate carrier allows for the creation of a modern modular individual protection system for the user.
