The well-known saying “I come against ye!” more than a thousand years ago instilled considerable terror in enemies and still hasn’t lost its relevance. Today, it is widely used by Ukrainian patriots who are interested in their own history and are well aware of its meaning. The patch from M-Tac represents Svyatoslav Ihorevich – the Grand Duke of Kyivan Rus, who left a significant mark in the history of Ukraine. An expressive face and details on the armor and weapons convey majesty, demonstrating the warrior’s bravery, and the leadership qualities of the prince. During his reign, Svyatoslav spent most of his time on campaigns, won a number of brilliant victories over the enemy, and had considerable experience in military affairs. The chronicle “Tale of Bygone Years” describes how, when going on a campaign, Svyatoslav would send a messenger to the enemy with the words “I come against ye!” With this declaration of war, he made the enemy nervous and concentrated all their forces in one place. This allowed his fighters to defeat the enemy in one battle, avoiding exhausting, protracted battles with separate units. The patch is made in the shape of Svyatoslav’s bident, which was the first emblem of the Kiev princes. It is believed that the modern Coat of Arms of Ukraine was derived from Svyatoslav’s bident. Nowadays, the prince’s bident also serves as a distinguishing mark of the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine. Today, the phrase “I come against ye!” has become not only the motto of the SOF, but also a symbol of valor, courage and nobility of all those who defend Ukraine from invaders with weapons in their hands. The patch is made of high-quality PVC (polyvinyl chloride) material using 3D technology, thanks to which it appears voluminous and the image is very realistic. Attaches to clothing or equipment with Velcro. Material: PVC (polyvinyl chloride) Dimensions: 9 x 6.2 cm
