This new patch from M-Tac was created specifically for paramedics – the real guardian angels of our defenders. The symbolism of the paramedic patch deserves special attention and has its roots in the ancient civilizations of the East, Greece and Egypt. The patch depicts a caduceus – a wand with wings around which two snakes are coiled. Since the 19th century, the image has served as a symbol of medicine, and is also considered the personification of the key that opens the border between darkness and light, good and evil, life and death. “Star of Life” is the main emblem of the Emergency Medical Service. According to one legend, the six points of the star symbolize the six main tasks that paramedics solve in emergency situations: detection, notification, appropriate response, on-site assistance, assistance during transportation and transfer to a specialized assistance center. This patch is made of high quality Cordura 500D material, which is resistant to abrasion and high loads. The image is applied with colored embroidery, which makes the patch more refined.
