Ballistic Groin Protection – for ballistic inserts

You can’t predict where an enemy bullet or piece of shrapnel will come from — that’s why it’s crucial to proactively protect yourself. M-TAC has developed the Ballistic Groin Protection to significantly increase the fragmentation protection area for the operator. The module consists of a central panel and two articulated side panels, allowing for unrestricted movement during high-intensity activities such as running, squatting, or walking. The side panels feature Laser-Cut MOLLE for attaching additional gear when needed. The groin protector secures to a tactical belt using side-mounted attachments. The main mounting section is made from Cordura 500D, reinforced with a Tegris thermoplastic composite between two fabric layers, offering exceptional strength while keeping weight low. The extended straps are interwoven through the MOLLE system on the belt and the groin protector, creating a secure and stable connection that doesn’t interfere with other gear placement. At the bottom, a webbing strap with a Grip Toggle buckle from Korean manufacturer WOOJIN helps anchor the lower portion of the protector to the belt, keeping the MOLLE field fully usable. A quick-release system is integrated into all three sections of the module (sides and bottom) using high-quality buckles from Italian brand DUE EMME (2M) for rapid removal in emergency situations.
